Processing heads for laser cutting are available for all types of lasers, e.g. CO2 and solid state lasers with different laser power and classes of accuracy. Equipped with process sensor systems and long-term and non-contact stabilised space, these heads reach cutting quality.
For laser joining Precitec offers heads and quality control systems as integrated packages. Ahead of the welding process high resolution cameras detect the position and geometry of the joint with triangulation principle and grey scale value analysis to move the welding head to the specific point. In-process detectors and cameras provide information on any welding defects and the welding process stability. Post-process cameras quantify the surface of the seam and the geometry.
